Uplift was recently recognized by the annual Jay Mathews Challenge Index and U.S. News and World Report as having some of the top high schools in the nation. Both lists recognize high schools based on a variety of factors, including effective college preparation and graduation rates.
Jay Mathews Challenge Index
The Challenge Index rates schools by the ratio of the number of AP or IB exams taken by all students to the number of seniors graduating. Uplift North Hills, Uplift Summit International, Uplift Mighty, Uplift Grand, Uplift Hampton, Uplift Luna, Uplift Infinity, Uplift Williams, and Uplift Heights were ranked 48th, 78th, 97th, 139th, 152nd, 153rd, 184th, 201st, and 296th respectively, making them among the top 1% in the nation.U.S. News and World Report
The U.S. News rankings include data on nearly 24,000 public high schools. Schools are ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. All of our schools were within the top 36%.Congratulations!
