The Proud Parent Partners (P3) Ambassador plays a vital role in attracting and enrolling new students by actively engaging with prospective parents, showcasing the benefits and unique offerings of Uplift Education and answering any questions that potential families may have. The Parent Ambassador serves as a representative of the school, building relationships with families, conducting outreach activities, and providing accurate information to facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, persuasive communication abilities, and a genuine passion for promoting Uplift mission and educational values.
We are currently seeking parent ambassadors for all Uplift schools.
Prospective Parent Engagement:

Actively engage with prospective parents through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and virtual platforms.

Conduct tours and informational sessions for prospective parents to showcase the school's facilities, educational programs, extracurricular activities, and unique features.

Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective parents, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs throughout the admissions process.
Outreach and Recruitment:

Develop and implement effective strategies to attract prospective parents, such as hosting information sessions, participating in community events, and leveraging online and offline marketing channels.

Attend local fairs, conferences, and other relevant events to promote the school and engage with potential families.

Establish partnerships with community organizations, preschools, and other educational institutions to expand the school's reach and attract a diverse pool of applicants.
Relationship Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective parent interactions, inquiries, and application progress.

Cultivate positive relationships with parents, understanding their specific interests, needs, and expectations, and addressing them appropriately.
Qualifications:
-
Must be a parent, grandparent or guardian of scholar at one of the schools listed above.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals, including parents, school staff, and community members.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Proficiency in using technology tools, such as email, spreadsheets, and presentation software

Bi-lingual preferred

Key Events to Attend:

In-person Parent Ambassador Training
The Uplift Scholar Recruitment Team will support Parent Ambassadors through:
-
Parent Ambassador training sessions and monthly check-ins
-
Parent Engagement Toolkit, which will contain swag for tabling, activities and ideas to help engage parents

Mentoring and training through school site visits, meetings and conference calls (as needed)
Expected Time Commitment and Location:
The Parent Ambassador position has flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to accommodate parent meetings and events. The role primarily operates remotely but may involve occasional on-site activities and community engagements.
Compensation:
The Parent Ambassador will operate as an independent contractor and will be paid per event or activity based on the schedule of compensation provided by the recruiting team. Invoices for completed activities and events will be submitted on the first day of each month and compensation will be paid on a Net 30 time schedule.
