What is a Wrap Around Service Coordinator?

Wrap Around Service Coordinators (or WSCs) assist Uplift families who are either needing some additional support or referral to resources. Wrap Around Service Coordinators work tirelessly year-round to provide support for our Uplift Families. 

What kind of support does a WSC provide?

Wrap Around Service Coordinators (or WSCs) assist Uplift families that were identified as qualifying for Uplift's Families in Transition Program, in accordance with the McKinney Vento Act. WSCs also provide case management for families in need of additional support.

Case management is like having a personal guide and support system for families and students who are looking for additional support. WSCs work together with families to create a plan to connect them with helpful resource, programs, or services that help meet the needs of a families unique needs or challenges. Whether that’s finding school supplies, food assistance, housing resources, or tutoring, WSCs are here to help.

Think of case management as a way to make sure each student and family gets the right support to overcome barriers so that students can focus on learning and thriving in school.

Who is there to support my Uplift Family?

Uplift campuses are divided amongst 5 regions. Each region has its own WSC dedicated to helping families with any needs that come up. WSCs understands your area and are here to provide personalized support and connect you with resources. Our goal is to make sure you have someone you can rely on for guidance and assistance whenever you need it.
