Grading during ConnectEd

For Scholars in Grades PK-10:
- All work submitted while a scholar is enrolled in Uplift ConnectED will count towards a scholar’s course grade. At the end of a scholar’s quarantine period all of his/her grades are provided to their teachers and scholars will be given credit for all missed work during their time enrolled in Uplift ConnectED. Scholars will not receive a penalty, nor will they have to makeup work that was completed in the in-person class while they were on quarantine.
- If a scholar misses an exam, they will be either be excused from taking the assessment or given the content covered on the assessment and a study period of at least 5 days and an opportunity to take the assessment
- Quarantined scholars will be allowed the opportunity to complete any MAP, CA, or other network assessment if it falls within their quarantine period.
For Scholars in Grades 11 -12:
- Scholars should submit their course work as assigned. Scholars should have 15 school days to make-up any work not completed while they were enrolled in Uplift ConnectED. Their in-person teacher must provide them with tutorial and/or reteach opportunities to help them complete any work that they did not complete while quarantined.
- If a scholar misses an exam, they should either be excused from taking the assessment or given the content covered on the assessment and a study period of at least 5 days and an opportunity to take the assessment
