Pick Up & Drop Off Information

  • We are excited to welcome you to our new Uplift Luna campus! We have updated our carline procedures due to feedback about traffic concerns and city requirements. It is of the utmost importance that we all adhere to these changes to our carline in order to get community support for our school. Please help us by following the carline plan below. If you are unclear about the carline, please contact the campus. 
     
    1. No walkers are permitted unless you can prove that your scholar lives less than 0.5 miles from Uplift Luna. 
      • Everyone is required to use our carline for drop off and pick up. 
      • No families can pick up or drop-off outside our gates. 
      • If you believe your scholar qualifies as a walker who lives less than 0.5 miles from campus, complete the following form, and someone from the school will contact you. Only addresses used for enrollment will be considered. CLICK HERE to access the form. 
    2. There are two entrances to our campus.
      • Secondary scholars (6th-12th with no primary siblings) will enter and exit along the I-30 frontage road.
      • Primary scholars (PreK-5th and siblings with a 6th-12th grader) will enter and exit through Chenault St. 
    3. We will be staggering our academic start and end time to allow for a staggered arrival/dismissal. 
      • If you have siblings, please come at the LATEST time to pick up your scholars at once. 

    We also encourage you to review our new carline video with your scholar(s) for tips and tricks on how to make the carline a breeze.

Early Pick Up

  • NO scholars will be dismissed early from the front office after 3:00 pm (Wednesday 1:30 pm or Half Day 11:30 am) as the Front Office closes prior to carline to allow for a safe and quick scholar dismissal.  If there is an emergency or a situation that needs immediate attention, the Front Office can be reached via phone at 214-442-7882 during carline.  Thank you for your partnership in keeping our scholars and faculty safe!

     

Primary Carline PreK - 5th

  • Primary Entrance & Exit:

    All cars must enter and exit via the Chenault Street Gate off Buckner Blvd. 

    Primary Carline

    Drop Off Time:

    • 7:30am—8:00am

     

    Pick Up Time:

    • Primary Scholar ONLY: 3:30pm - 4:00pm
      • 2:00pm - 2:30pm on Wednesdays
    • Primary + Secondary Sibling: 3:53pm-4:10pm
      • 2:46pm - 3:00pm on Wednesdays

    *Carline officers at the gate will ask sibling parents to go to the end of the line if the parent comes through before their timeframe.*

     

    Primary Scholars with Secondary Siblings:

    • Please come at the pick-up time of your secondary scholar.
    • All Secondary scholars with Primary school (PreK-5th) siblings will walk to Primary to be picked up in the Primary car line at 3:53pm / 2:46pm on Wednesdays.

Secondary Carline 6th - 12th

  • Secondary Entrance & Exit:

    All cars must enter and exit via the IH 30 Westbound Frontage Rd gate.

    Drop Off Time:

    • 7:40am—8:00am

     

    Pick Up Time:

    • 3:53pm—4:10pm
      • 2:46pm - 3:00pm on Wednesdays

     

    Secondary Scholars with PS Siblings:

    • Reference the Luna Primary Car Line Route
    • All MS/HS scholars with Primary school (PreK-5th) siblings will walk to Primary to be picked up in the sibling car line at 3:53pm / 2:46pm on Wednesdays.
    • Enter & Exit campus through Chenault Street Gate

     

    No Drop-Offs or Pick-Ups allowed on IH 30 Frontage Rd
    No Drop-Offs or Pick-Ups allowed at King Metal, Toyota, & New Way of Life Church.
