• Uplift Gradus Car Line

The Uplift Gradus Car Line was created under the guidance of Uplift Education, the City of DeSoto, and our campus safety officers. Everyone is required to use the car line route for dropping off and picking up scholars. To keep car line safe for all scholars and parents, we do not allow parents to walk their scholars across the parking lot or street.

We also encourage you to review our new car line video with your scholar(s) for tips and tricks on how to make carline a breeze.

Gates open for families to begin lining up at 6:30 a.m.

    Afternoon Car Line Procedures

All cars will enter through the Entry Gate off Seahawk Dr and proceed into the parking lot. Cars will take an immediate right turn and split into their assigned lines, based on grade level, and follow the perimeter of the parking lot.

(BLUE LINE) Pre K, 1st and 2nd grade scholars

    1. Have your car line tag displayed clearly on the passenger side of your windshield.
    2. Proceed along the left lane Blue Line until you are forced to turn left into the staff parking lot.
    3. Follow through the staff parking lot and stop at the traffic intersection facing the school.
    4. Wait at the stop until the traffic officer directs you to pull forward.
    5. Park along the curb closest to the front side of the building and wait for a staff member to bring your scholar.
    6. Exit turning left out of the parking lot. Turning right toward Hampton Road is not permitted. Traffic on Hampton is too busy at this time, and this maneuver often endangers our scholars.

(RED LINE) 3rd, 4th 5th, and all Families with Siblings in both PreK-2 & 3rd-5th

    1. Have your car line tag displayed clearly on the driver side of your windshield.
    2. Proceed along the right lane Red Line until cones separate the lanes. Stay right of the cones.
    3. Pull forward to the stop sign in front of the cafeteria. Wait for a staff member to bring your scholar.
    4. Wait at the stop until the traffic officer directs you to pull forward. Then proceed straight ahead to the exit gate.
    5. Exit turning left out of the parking lot. Turning right toward Hampton Road is not permitted. Traffic on Hampton is too busy at this time, and this maneuver often endangers our scholars.

     Important Reminders

    • Have your car line number visibly displayed on the side of your vehicle windshield.
    • Wait until the cars in front of you proceeds before moving forward.
    • If the car line extends beyond our gates, please form a line close to the curb along Seahawk away from Hampton Rd, toward Kestrel Ave.
    • Scholars may not be dropped off prior to 7:25am.
    • Scholars not picked up 30 minutes after school dismissal will be considered a late pick up, and a fee will be assessed. (See fee details below)
