Jesus A. Belmonte - Operations Director
Welcome to Uplift Hampton. Founded in 2007 with 500 scholars, today we serve more than 1400 in grades PreK-12.
As a school focused clearly on the college and career readiness of scholars, our teachers, coaches, and advisors understand and appreciate the unique nature of the Uplift Hampton Experience. With challenging programs designed to inspire, motivate, and stretch our scholars, Uplift Hampton is a place where scholars can be themselves, develop respect for others, and learn what it means to be a person of true character and integrity. Our mission at Uplift Education is clear – we seek to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace and that inspire in students a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service in order to positively change their world.
Since my onboarding as the Operations Director at Uplift Hampton in April 2023, I have developed a profound appreciation for and love of our scholars and teachers. While excellence and achievement are prevalent in programs and activities across the campus, it is the character of the people that defines our School – faculty who care deeply about their charges and students who give freely to one another to continually strengthen the sense of community.
If you visit our school you will quickly see that we have some of the strongest academic, athletic, artistic, and extracurricular programs imaginable. Our scholars learn from teachers who are not only leaders in their fields but are also individuals who truly love their work. Uplift Hampton is a community that works together and is driven by a common purpose.
I hope you find this website helpful and informative. At the same time, there is no substitute for visiting our campus and seeing our teachers and students in action. We look forward to welcoming you to Uplift Hampton sometime soon.
