Uplift Pinnacle South opened its doors in 2017-18 on the corner of I-35E and Camp Wisdom with grades 6th and 7th.  The school was originally opened as an extension of Uplift Pinnacle Primary school, which has served Oak Cliff since 2011.  It was soon discovered that there is a growing need in the community for a K-12th continuum school, so the decision was made to rename the school to Uplift Wisdom Preparatory and expand the grades offered.  The new name was chosen by scholars and families for its connection to the surrounding neighborhood.  For 2018-19, Uplift Wisdom will offer grades K, 1st, 6th, 7th and 8th, and will grow over the next five years to offer all grades, K-12th.  Uplift Pinnacle Primary scholars will continue to feed into the Uplift Wisdom middle school.
